Arkansas Goose Hunts

We hunt snow geese, blues and speckle bellies, Texas style with sillosocks, full bodies, half shells and Texas rags. While sitting in comfortable, low profile chairs shooting geese at close distance is an experience that shouldn't be missed.

Spring Snow Goose Hunt in Arkansas

Spring migration brings massive numbers of snow geese heading north out of Louisiana and Mississippi for the summer. Large migrating flocks are enticed into the decoys with electronic calls. If you have never seen an "Arkansas Tornado" of geese funneling in you have missed an exhilerating experience. During this season (Feb-Mar,) no Arkansas license or stamps are needed to hunt. There is no bag limit, hunters may use unplugged guns, electronic calls, and shooting hours are extended to one half hour past sunset.

Before hunting, hunters must call 1-800-364-GAME or go to www.agfc.com for a free snow goose registration permit number.

This hunt includes all day hunt (approx. 10/12 hours.), meals, lodging, and bird processing
