We hunt snow geese, blues and speckle bellies, Texas style with sillosocks, full bodies, half shells and Texas rags. While sitting in comfortable, low profile chairs shooting geese at close distance is an experience that shouldn't be missed.
Spring migration brings massive numbers of snow geese heading north out of Louisiana and Mississippi for the summer. Large migrating flocks are enticed into the decoys with electronic calls. If you have never seen an "Arkansas Tornado" of geese funneling in you have missed an exhilerating experience. During this season a hunting license and stamps are required to hunt. There is no bag limit, hunters may use unplugged guns, electronic calls, and shooting hours are extended to one half hour past sunset.
